Chris Christopoulos

Born and raised in Patras, my journey into electronic music began really early, at the age of 4, digging through my father’s cassette tapes filled with funk, disco, and house DJ sets. I began decoding dance music before I could even name it… and that curiosity never left. I’ve been a selector since the late 2000s, drawn to long-form, storytelling sets that gently flow between house, techno, and space-infused underground sounds.

Alongside my academic path - MEng in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering, MSc in Engineering Business Management, and an ongoing PhD in Computer Science - I’ve always believed in building bridges between disciplines and people. That mindset led me to co-found Nibiru Mission, a space-inspired record label and creative platform, and to launch SIR KRIS, my personal DJ/producer project.

That’s also why I’m part of dancetoday: because I believe in real connection, beyond trends, algorithms, and hype. My goal is to help grow a global, community-driven ecosystem that celebrates authenticity and pushes the culture of electronic music forward.
