The musical collaboration "Tomorrow Comes The Harvest" was created by Nigerian drummer Tony Allen — one of the pioneers of Afrobeat — and Detroit techno legend Jeff Mills. Together with producer Jean-Phi Dary, the trio discovered common ground in a tradition that treats music as a means of spiritual elevation, touring the world until Tony Allen's passing in 2020.
The foundations of the idea, however, had already been laid. With the addition of flutist Rasheeda Ali, the project has now entered a new chapter.
In every Tomorrow Comes The Harvest performance, improvisation becomes a tool for exploring the unknown, pushing sonic boundaries, and traversing rhythms that lead to an experience beyond the ordinary.
